It doesn't really matter what anyone on this forum recommends for you to do, because when everyone tells you to buy new motor mounts (standalone and 1000cc injectors) you'll do something completely asinine like take your stock mounts, put urethane inserts in them and fill with 3m window weld (go out and use a rising rate fuel pressure regulator and stock injectors.) The end result will be disastrous- your motor bouncing all over the engine bay (blowing up your expensive "built" motor) and then you'll be back to inquire about engine torque braces (asking questions about block guards or how much timing 'everyone' is running)
You are not welcome in this forum. Leave.

i have a 2000 si with built internals. Questions. what boost controller should i use,a forge manual, or a greddy 2? boost spikes? and Should i use a Apexi AFC Neo controller or use the hondata200. both cost the same. I need answers. im ordering it like tomarrow.
Wapshhhh 10/24/07 09:05 PM
Boost controller if you have to pick from those two, get the Greddy.
I don't know where you got the idea that you can use an Apexi AFC Neo, but it wont work at all for you.
The Hondata s200 is discontinued for a reason. Don't even consider it.
Find the best tuner in your area and buy whatever EMS he recommends. http://forums.clubsi.com/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Main/112353/Number/2127912

thats a garrett? Do i have to change out my stock injectors, is 550cc enough.and I have a tial 38mm (7psi)spring. do i have to swap it out to make 22 pounds. i cant get past 14 pounds. Im lookn for 450 whp. thanks 12/22/07 05:00 PM
Wait, have you been driving on this setup with stock injectors???? I'm a bit confused.
Get 1000cc injectors and an FJO Injector Driver. What kind of EMS are you using?
Use and tune with the .5 bar spring that you have, and then step it up to a 1 bar spring. http://forums.clubsi.com/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Main/125212/Number/2425587 03/11/08 02:02 PM
what timing are you guys using. I was 2 degrees retarded, and my 2 and 3 pistons cracked the 1st ringlands. Not from detonation.A/F was 11.2.Im running wisecos.thanks 03/11/08 09:07 PM
It was firing on 3 cylinders. When I pulled the plugs to check it was closed not damaged.I dont no the duty cycles.I didnt hook it up to a computer. There stock injectors.I have an inline 255 and a regulator.the psi set from drag.I believe 50 psi. 03/11/08 09:21 PM

I've just let all of my honesty out into the open. There are people who are general dicks and are abrasive about anything. I'm more along the lines of an unbridled brutally honest-hole, I think. It's been building up for awhile but I've let it out into the open over the last few months. I've been spending a lot of time on the gtr.co.uk Technical forums lately, which are filled with owners who have picked up GT-R's on the cheap and have no idea how to maintain or modify them, but go around preaching to other people that you can do x y and z. I have a lot of fun, and really unleash my full asshole qualities over there on at least a weekly basis.
Assholes have more fun, anyways.
*edit: I went back and highlighted/made the really funny points of the history of b00stedsi's turbo saga really apparent. I needed a laugh.

I've been on forums long enough now that I don't really get mad when people don't search - anything thats not covered in the FAQ's are fair game and I"ll answer it... I just get pissed when I've already given an answer and it's ignored
