the shorts I'm wearing on the right are size 34. Been years since I've fit into a 34.

nah it's not tight, the fat is weird now as I get leaner. less solid more spongy like meringue *shrugs*

Naw, ideally it says I'm supposed to lose like a pound every 1-2 weeks. But I also do a lot of lifting so I don't pay too much attention to the scale The density transfers. Body fat is what I want to get lower, it's still in the 30's at the moment.

my thighs are about 27 inches each, quads are getting bigger and leaner each month. Gonna have them slikz legs in a year lol.

I didn't lose shit until I weighed myself daily. I think it's good to have constant reference/feedback.

That's a mental roadblock for a lot of people. If I do the work at my gym, the weight loss will come on it's own. I intake roughly 2200 calories a day to offset the estimated 600 I burn from crossfit (sometimes it's more but I like to keep it there)

I do update my bodyspace monthly with progress and measurements, I don't get discouraged if there isn't a significant change anymore since before I waited 4 months to see how much I had changed from Jan to April. Of course I had lost 10-15 pounds within that period of time too but packed on a decent amount of muscle.

I've gained 2 inches on my forearms in muscle and am becoming increasingly vascular on my upper chest, shoulders, and forearms.

I'll keep working at it and keep sharing, another year and a half to go and I should be at 180-190 hopefully at 10-12 percent body fat.

And art I already know you're drinking a 5 gallon jug of hater aid so post whenever you're ready troll.

+1

Others probably know more than I do, but you aren't recruiting muscles to stabilize the weight the same way and you're motion through the exercise, as fixed by the machine, is not optimal.

Just start light. Its kind of the same issue I was posting about with deadlifts - when you recruit the range of muscles that squatting recruits, some part of your body will be weakest. For me it tends to be my core and back. Do lighter weights to perfect your form and figure out what your body can handle.

Right now I'm only going about as high as 165 when I squat since I've had back issues in the past and want them to remain dormant. With a full range of motion (going as low as I can) I still feel fatigued when I'm done. If I feel like hammering my legs some more I can switch to leg presses and load up more weight.

Incline - 160
Cable crosses - 100
Curls - 110
Deads - 245
Squats are on a machine (standing) - 360

Generally 5 sets if 5. I start out the first set 10-20 pounds light to warm it.

I regret to say military press has been a no-go. My left shoulder has been hurt for a couple weeks.

something sounds fishy about those numbers and your build.
curls and deadlift?? get someone to take a vid. i'm not seeing it with you only lifting for about a year
if you're doing dips with 90lbs added to your weight, your tri's should be huge by now. that's you pushing up 245lbs.

incline...that seems about right. barbells, dumbbells, or smith/naut. machine??

dude stop acting like a bitch. jeezus fucking christ. i just asked about your numbers because i was impressed with your build. if you use a naut/smith/DB/BB...that's on you and your choice.

for example, here's my numbers and i'm not embarassed to post them. 4 sets 5wk program increasing in a rep each week starting at 8 reps for each exercise(i do this 2 times a day. i'm on my second cycle of two-a-days right now)

Squats(DB on shoulder) - 110lbs(55lb DB on each shoulder)
Calf Raise - 110lbs (55lb DB in each hand down by my side)
Flat Bench - 130lbs (65lb DB in each hand)
Isolated Row using flat bench - 130 (65lb DB each arm)
Isolated Curl - 70lbs (35lb DB each hand)
Military Press - 100lbs (50lb DB each hand)
Incline BP - 100lbs (55lb each hand)
Decline BP - 100lbs (55lb each hand)

don't get so uptight

On a smith machine you aren't really using any stabilizer muscles and you are very limited in your range of motion which basically means all you need to do is push up and the weight comes with you (this is the best way I can explain it as it makes sense in my head)

I could potentially do a lot more on a smith on squats for example.

Not in for the fighting in the thread, so I'll just offer this:

Switching to free weights likely won't make you any bigger or stronger, but it will reduce the risk of injury, both for some kind of overuse injury from the machine and sports-related injury decrease due to increased stabilizer activation with free weight training. Not to mention that you'll get a much, much better core workout when you actually have to activate the core while using free weights. It's just better, provided you have your form down correctly.

I highly advise switching, although I'd make sure you at least watch a ton of videos on proper squat technique (Squat RX on YouTube has a GREAT series of videos, as does DieselCrew) or have a trainer instruct you on technique. EVERYONE has technique that can be improved upon (even all of us experienced lifters in here likely are doing 1-2 small things incorrectly), so don't think of it as a bad thing.
