Another day, another cheap lens. This time a Takumar Bayonet 135mm f/2.5 from a pawn shop in Fairbanks. Does ok on the K30...

I just don't like it in general (don't take it wrong here, it's a good picture, but nothing about it screams awesome or noteworthy to me). The tree doesn't help. But there is just a lot of nothing really. I do like the lineup on the jeeps, but if anything this either screams cropping vertically to get rid of the excess green or a really shallow depth of field on the front Jeep.

with that other shot, if i moved to the right, i would lose the vertical line up of the vehicles because the terrain changed drastically and everyone was consistently moving.

I would clone stamp out the people in both shots. The dude in the bright yellow shirt really distracts me in the first shot.
