Nope the glassware stuff just posted in the wine glasses was shot 3 days ago But i promise not to bore you guys with any more glassware for a bit haha. Here is a random dragon fly i found on friday

Thanks! I was standing maybe 20-25ft behind him and the paintballs we're landing in front of me. I've taken like 4500 shots in paintball so far and I keep my camera down until I'm sure I'm not getting shot at. There are some games I won't take my camera out because they are high speed games of like 50+ vs 50+ all in a small contained area. Unfortunately there's only a few spots I can get pics behind someone safely and it's a matter of waiting for the right game and time to get those shots, hence why most of my shots are with people shooting over me or from the side.

I'm assuming you're also wearing protective gear while you're out there?
Definitely!!! Bright red/yellow ref jersey, red mask, I might have a picture with me wearing my stuff... I'll see what I can dig up.
I like that shot, cool composition. Missed the focus by || that much though.
Yeah, that was like the only shot too I really blew the focus on but I really liked the capture so I figured I'd post it.
what would have been cool is if you were able to capture a paintball streaking toward you kind of like that tiger woods shot
I've got some, I'll have to find them and post a few in the next few days.

What are you using for liquid? You've got no splashback, which leads me to believe it is a thicker liquid.

I just used water with red food coloring The key is to let it pour for a second or two to allow the liquid already in the glass to absorb the would be "splashed". i kinda started pouring, waited a second for it to "stabilize" and then snapped a few shots. i did this a few times til i got it right but it was really simple and easy. same method for the other shot i posted.

Nate i've been toying with that, but the more I toy, the more i keep coming back to this white balance, this bronze plate effect. shooting into the sun + auto white balance = occasionally neat things if i produce anything i like better, i'll put it up
Word man, I would try doing an orange gradient layer over the sky set to soft light or overlay. Dial down the opacity to like maybe 20-30% and that might help bring a bit more life to the sky. Or not, the shot looks cool already.

They really have SO much personality. as i was moving around him with different angles and using different lenses his head was just tracking me the entire time haha. it was almost kinda...cute?
