I micro adjusted my Sigma 18-35 F1.8 with the Sigma dock today. The focus was all over the place.

In a mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans is a statue called "The Angel of Grief" Blue stained glass windows bathe the statue in soft blue light (thats not chromatic aberration!)
Color or BW?

Random shot from the first day I had the D3300. I'm new, and just enjoyed the way this came out, certainly nothing spectacular and much still to learn. Yes, some of us do still drive an Si

It's tilting right... Actually it might not be 100% crooked, but the floor line running on the bottom is absolutely killing me. It's a cool shot for sure!

Yeah it is...I am still adjusting to the 11-24. The perspective distortion is really exaggerated if off by even a few degrees. And thanks!

Some studio work today...
I got to work with a designer today, and this was the first arbitrary image I edited.

And in the canon world, theres not really a way to get beyond 400mm at anything faster than a 5.6 without dropping some serious coin. I've tried all combos of 400mm and below lenses and extenders and thats the conclusion I've reached. Next level up is the 300 2.8 and 400 f/4 DO lenses that are both north of $6k and it just goes up from there with the 400 2.8, 500 and 600 f/4's all at $10k+
The 1DX2 will do f/8 autofocus on all of its AF points (not just the center like the 5D3, 7D2, and 1Dx) giving you more chances of nailing focus plus more creative composition options, but again you're north of $6k for that too.

The 100-400mm and my 7d mkII make a pretty sweet combo. Now if I could actually go out and shoot the damn thing!

Do you version 1 or 2 of the 100-400? I have v1. curious if the v2 is that huge of an improvement over v1 (besides the obvious elimination of the push-pull zoom)

Nice! And yeah v1 is a good lens. Certainly hard to beat in terms of versatility (maybe except the 28-300L)

^Great motion, but I think a stop or two faster shutter would have captured the jeep better. Its cool in an abstract kinda way though.
