Well I'm looking to get a 08' Civic Si Sedan. And I just have a question. I know that both the 08' Si and the 05' Type S both have a K20 engine. I was just wondering which one is better and what are the differences? Thanks
The Si is drive by wire, while I believe the RSX-S isn't. I don't know all the other minor shit but if you google it you should find plenty of tech writeups.

Doesn't the Z3 have a slightly different cam than the Z1? It seems like when the Si came out I read an article about how the Si engine was basically a hodgepodge of a few different K20s, with parts from the american RSX-S as well as parts from other K20s overseas.

yes hence the different engine code and HP ratings.
If you had to pick between the two which engine is better the K20Z1 or K20Z3? I'm leaning towards the K20Z3 because it's a newer engine. I just want to see you guy's opinion!

Both are near identical once you start modifing them.
I would chose the Z1 though because I dont like the spaceship cockpit in the SI
Indeed, steering arms are located lower on the strut on the FG than the DC5. Also, I believe the FG's rear suspension geometry has been improved on, a big change being a separate spring and shock setup.
Well after thinking about it I think I could make my car that I have now last until I'm out of college in three years -_-. I was just wondering if anyone knew what honda's might be coming around that time "2010-2011" ?!
If you're talking sedan vs hatch that's a tossup on utility (although I think I'd lean sedan) but I prefer the interior/exterior of the RSX to that of the Si. I like the LSD and the improved suspension of the Si (the funky rear suspension the rsx/ep hatch always bothered me) but I don't really see you going wrong with either car.

Yeah I like the RSX-s better but the Si is slightly more car for the money. LSD, better handling, room for 5 if you get the four door. If it wasn't for the funky interior styling I'd be completely sold on it.

Fixed. Can't quite talk myself into loving the lines on this car. An HFP kit spices it up just a tad though.

its more functional interior than mad tyte dash molestation. Materials are still great imo but the ergonomics of the whole set up is really good and youll notice it once you spend some time behind the wheel.
Si is a better overall car than an rsx imo. exterior looks is a toss up between the two.

The exterior styling is not nearly as bad as the interior imo.
But I think the rsx is much better looking, but yeah...that's subjective.
