Well, I managed to rack 204K on 00 Si before I sold it a few weeks ago. All in all, she was a great car. Never broke down, never stolen, never totaled. It will be missed but not forgotten.

Specs and mods:
-Original interior, motor and trans. Original paint (less some insurance claims).
-AEM CAI
-Pioneer Premier HU, 5 1/4 components, 4 way 6x9s, 600 watt x2 amps, 10" shallow mount sub
-Monster hardware, Fosgate Cap
-Ingall rear camber kit
-Konig Kolors Lightweight Gunmetal 17x8's on Khumo AST, 205/40/17
-Koni Adjustable Sports with Eibach Prokit Springs

And so a new era begins...

2009 CWP MS3 GT
-Xpel/Ventureshield Clear Film Protectant
-Rear Mazda Scuff Guards
-Wheel Locks (lol)

Looking forward to many more outings with the CSi So Cal crew.

Yeah, funny thing. Just keep up with the recommended maintenance and these cars run to 300K on the stock drivetrain. I had some mild wear on the piston rings and a weak cat before I sold it, but that's it. I didn't abuse it, but I didn't drive it like my Grandma either. Great long term car.

Sad to see her go Kent. Was always one of the cleanest in So Cal. Good luck with the new ride!

Some days you will regret it \:\(

I lost mine due to a robbery (so it wasn't by choice).

I've had a 05 TL and now I have a 08 G37s and till this day when I see one out in the street (less and less as the years go by) I get sentimental and wish I still had my EBP 00 Si

R.I.P.

BUT ANYWAY...

Good luck with the Mazda, you got the best cooler imo.
Now lower it and get some wheels so that thing can look even fatter

I sold it to another member on this site, so I'd rather keep that info confidential. I will say it was a fair price for both me and the new owner.

Funny thing is I advertised here and on H-T just to see if any enthusiasts were interested in the car. Had 10-12 hits within the first week on Honda-Tech, but no one ever followed through or they were waiting on the sale of another car.

Thanks. Yeah, besides the intake I'm skipping the power mods and going straight to the handling dept. I should have H&R coilovers soon, followed by RX8 wheels. Probably do that when it comes time to replace the stock rubber.

These cars are nearly perfect from the factory. There's a little front end float and some torque steer, but nothing I can't handle. ;\) Here's a pic of how my car should look within 12 months:

skipping the power mods? \:\(

that's what makes it fun. for the weight of it 3150 you can feel alil of the weight..but mazda did their thing. feels pretty neutral.

on my cwp ms3. got intake bypass valve and high flow cat--back exhaust (stock downpipe) 287 whp and 298 wtq. stock boost level. on a low reading dyno dynamics dyno (like a mustang dyno)

i miss my si. but when i remember the lack of torque..and what the ms3 brings...it's worth it.

IMO best car under 25k. congrats on the sale and purchase.

Thanks. Just hit 20K and still loving it.

IMO this car needs better dampers over more power. Suspension is going in early next year (hopefully). Plan to keep the car fairly stock until the powertrain warranty is up. Might consider more power but it's a bit impractical on a FWD.
