Thinkin back to the OG CSi'ers... I'm trying to think of the members, and if they still have their Si's, what their driving now, and what happened to their Si...

ScrapinSi - SOLD - 96 Blazer
QuickSi - SOLD - Benz y0
BlokeGST - SOLD - Mazda P5 Wagon
SirMilton - 1st=STOLEN - 2nd=SOLD - Infinity G35
Kannon - Still owns his Si
Si950 - Still owns his Si
Riot - SOLD - "Si's SUCK!"

Who else am I missing for the old schoolers from New England? By Old Schoolers, I mean the ones who were at the ORIGINAL NH run... Ya know... The one where Ryan went flyin sideways in the dirt up at the mountain in his roofrack equipped Si?? Anybody heard from Ryan?

I know Pete (Blue Rocket) got rid of his Si, but he never came to meets anyways, so he doesn't count...

How easily we forget. Here from the very beginning and I still have the damn car. Just detailed the piss out of it in anticipation of taking the damn thing out of storage (battery was all dead and clicky when I went to start it ) Ready to auto-x the snot out of it once again.

As for all who have sold theirs, , such is the nature of marque-related message boards. The "sold the ____" threads are just a fact of life.

Funny to hear that Kannon still has his. That thing was a beast the last time I saw it (prolly a few years ago)

sold mine almost 2 yrs ago... had a 95 GTI VR6 for a bit to avoid car payments, then a year ago this month I got a 2000 Audi A6 2.7T. v6, twin turbo, quattro. When child # 2 came along it was easier to have 4 doors and some space. The reason I originally sold the Si was the fact I owed $5k at the time and got $14k on private sale. Couldn't beat those #'s-hell, I only financed $15k 3 and a half years earlier!

the Si still comes up often in conversations w/friends and family, though. I always loved that car.

Been a member of CSI since the beginning(I think I was member number 12 or 13....and dayum did I love the OG forums). OG screen name on CSI was SiLover. My EBP 99 Si got stolen on June 3rd, 2000 @ Palisades Mall.

Since then Ive had a 2000 1.8t GTI and now presently an 03 EVO. I loved my Si, amd I still love seeing stocklooking slightly lowered EBPs on the road. As a matter of fact, I recently found an old roll of film which has some pics of my Si back in 1999. Its crazy how time flies.

Purchased my EBP Si new in Jan of 2000 and sold it for 14.5K in April of 2003. Si resale > all

Purchased a 00 ITR when I moved here.

I only went to 1 NE meet. The six flags meet where one of my b-pipe bolts went bye-bye and the b16 sounded like a real POS.

I just sold my Si last week after 5 years. Now I have an old Toyota 4x4. I miss the little car already. My latest project for the last 2 years has been a 1972 Ford Maverick. Most of you probably have no clue what that is. But to me it is a cool old classic car. Much easier to work on, nothing to do with pollutions or computer on this car......

I'm rockin a 02' WRX
edit: 5 break-ins was enough for my Si
actually it was 3 in 5months then I got wheel locks, lojack w/ kill, shock sensor clifford alarm w/ hood and trunk pins and another kill.
the last 2 attempts were good runners and probably deaf...

I think I count as an Old-Schooler, although I'm not sure if anyone remembers me \:\)
I still have my EBP Si. It is going strong with 105,000 miles. I still have my old 1993 DX coupe too, with 191,000 miles. My newest ride is a 2006 G35 coupe 6MT in the garage, next to the Si and a Yamaha R6. The '93 DX and the 4Runner park on the street.

I'm looking to sell now \:\( I just have too many vehicles. I came on here to find current prices. It's good to see some of the old names and remember the times. We had some crazy drives up into the NH mountains!! \:\)

So I'm only about 9 years late seeing this thread \:D Is anyone still around? This forum seems pretty dead compared to the old days.

Sadly, I traded in my '99 Si around 2007 for a Prius shortly before my daughter was born. My wife mostly drives it now and I'm driving an Element. I'm ready to add a fun car to the stable again. I've been test driving some Miatas recently and browsing their forums, which is what inspired me to check back in here.

I put up some photos from the old Si Runs for those interested in a little nostalgia:

The first NE Si Run- October 1999 in Connecticut(?)

April 2000 Si Run in Mass

July 2000 Si Run in Rhode Island You can see I have the roof rack added at this point.

September 2000 Si Run in New Hampshire Where the aforementioned drifting in the dirt parking lot place.

May 2001 Cookout in Mass We had a banner!

There's a few more that I thought I had pictures of but can't find at the moment.

I still have my '99 Si. It's sitting in the front yard in Texas, but it still runs. I'm trying to think of a reason to bring it up to the city.

wow, Ryan, that was a blast from the past. I can't believe how young (and how much hair) we were back then. Its also trippy to see my parents house just after they moved in back in 2001.....crazy.....How times have changed....

Yeah- more hair. More time to go for weekend drives. All those pictures were shot on film, too. Damn, we're old! I did end up getting a '07 Miata last weekend and now everyone is calling it a midlife crisis. The only crisis I see is going 7 years without a fun-to-drive car.
