cliff st-clair is going to tell you that you're ruining the handling, since the manufacture knows best.

Used. Took me forever to find a FS post and shitty G forums won't let me post in any FS threads until I have 100 posts. Unlike here, there really isn't any need to post in the forums. I even PM'ed a mod and told him I'd been here for 5 months and asked him to give me permission to post a wanted add....he said no.
At any rate, I'm pretty impressed with the handling of this car once I got some sticky rubber. Just has a bit of understeer and since the RWD cars are known for oversteer, this should be a very neutral car.
Just wish I could find 50 more hp.
I'd suggest a motor-swap. that should get you the 50hp you need.
Good find on the ARB. 7mm is significant. I'm sure you'll notice a huge change.

The reason why sway bars are as they are between rwd and awd chassis, is probably because the spring rates are different as well.

So here is my tale of the most difficult swaybar install in history:
It was a bright and sunny Saturday morning. I get the car up on ramps and proceeded to get all 6 sway bar nuts off. I unbolt the 4 exhaust hangers and wiggle the stock, ridiculously skinny sway bar out from underneath the car in record time. New bar goes in almost as easy, but required a bit more wiggling given the increased diameter of the bar in general. The bushings are on and everything is torqued down and ready to go...then I go to tighten the final remaining exhaust hanger nut and I SNAP THE DAMN BOLT!!! Hulk rage ensues After cursing myself for breaking my brothers car for a second time (more on that later), I quickly map out a plan of attack.
After making two frustratingly long trips to obtain my assortment of drill bits, power drill, new nut/bolt, etc. from various locations, I begin to drill out the broken bolt. 4 hours later I have the new stainless hardware ***ballin!*** mounted and we're back in business. Just when it couldn't get any worse, I send my brother out to check out the new handling and when he gets back I ask how it went and he goes "Meh...I couldn't really notice a difference." FML!
After a test drive of my own though, I immediately noticed the difference. Although the rear of the car felt slightly firmer than before, it stayed much flater around corners and the car felt much more confident and composed in general. The only problem now is that the front kinda feels a bit more sloppy and disconnected as a result, which maybe a strut tower bar would fix...???
Either way, I swear this car hates me. The last time I went to do a simple job on it, was for a transfer case fluid change. While trying to clean the drain bolt, I dropped it and shattered the magnet on the end of it leaving the car useless for a week Anyway I think the sway bar was a great fairly cheap mod, but I look forward to never working on this car again for fear of breaking something way more expensive

Rear swaybar is one of the more noticible suspension mods you can do (especially for a "softer car" such as the G sedan)
I remember when I had a TSX I couldn't believe how much better the car felt when I added the bar.
