KILL your workout routine.
I was two weeks into a darn good workout program, had lost 6 lbs, starting to see a little loss in flab around the stomach, feeling stronger, and then BAM. I'm on my way to work one morning and my boss calls and tells me I need to be at one of our satellite locations for the next two weeks, and my current schedule doesn't allow me enough time to get a workout in before work. And that same evening my wife gets sick, so I have to watch my son for the next few days.
Man that's frustrating, I'm still getting pushups done and some ab work, but it really blows getting into it so far and then a roadblock like this. But hopefully I'll find a way around.
I've also found that 1200 calories a day is VERY difficult to maintain. I've been shooting for "1200-1400", but normally I end up right around 1400, despite the goal of 1200. It's just not enough to keep me from being hungry, even drinking water when hunger pangs hit. Is there a better way to manage this, without some kind of appetite supressant?

I may try the caffeine, but I'm staying as far away from ephedrine as possible.
I think I'll fast today until dinner. GREAT workout this morning. The people who got in trouble with ephedrine either had heart trouble or took waaaaay too much of it. Basically fatasses thinking that a pill would solve all their problems, and the more they took the better the result would be. They still sell the stuff OTC in every pharmacy and grocery store; its benign.
I'm not sure if this is normal or not but I bought a bottle several years ago and everytime I took it I got depressed. Like really depressed out of nowhere. I stopped taking it as soon as I figured out the correlation.
