I've already been to 2 this year! I need to get more miata-friendly camera gear though, as my headrest mount doesn't work with this car.

At this point i'm thinking "boy, i hope he can hear my intake or something"

He let me pass shortly after that. Good times! \:\)

Nice. I'm going to Cal Speedway next weekend with NASA. Seriously can't wait.

Cool!! any significant mods besides weight reduction?

Seems like a rollcage is in order.

Current setup is:

RX-7 Airflow meter w/ autozone cone filter
Jackson Racing highflow cat
Cobalt cat-back
Racing beat 7/8" front swaybar
Flyin Miata v2 springs
KYB AGX shocks
NB shock mounts w/ 3M bumpstops
Various wheels with RT615s
Axxis Ultimates

A harddog hard bar came with the car, but it's basically a mousetrap so i removed it. I plan on getting a proper rollbar and seats before making the car any faster.

They let you run track days with no roll protection? I thought that was a must for any convertible on the track.

Nashville allows it at least. Most tracks require some sort of rollover protection. I realize i'm taking my chances.

The eye port on your helmet looks ridiculously narrow.

Hey, I laughed. Twice even, once at your joke, then once at you \:\)

To the OP, thanks for posting. Too bad I have to live vicariously, I haven't been on a track in well over a year...
