Back to the lifting yesterday and today. I really needed a break form everything. Not 100% with the leg, so won't be lifting them for a while. Did a good shoulders workout yesterday, then hit the chest and back today... Feels good to get back in there

Answer me this: I've seen several guys when doing bench presses they will lift ehri liegs up off the floor and bring their knees over their stomach. Does this work a different muscle group? The retardus maximus...

Close grip bench- 135x20, 185x15, 205x7, 205x8 hammer dumb bell skull crushers/Hammer curls- 45sx10x3 on both, super set Over the head tri extentions/ reverse curls- 100x10x3/85x10x3, super set Preacher Curls- 70x5, 90x5, 115x5, 135x5x2. I really felt the NOX, I couldn't even flex my arms all the way after!

Thanks bud. We did chest and back saturday. did 165x3x8 with the bands on with the flat bench. It was the first time I've used the bands, and it was some crazy shit? any one on here try them before? After that, did 255x3, then 275x3! I've never gotten that before, so I was so stoked I crushed the rest of the workout.
Had arms today, and shoulders tomorrow...

Had a shitty workout today. it was defnitely one of those days where I did not want to be there.
175x10x3 flat bench (actually, last set I could only do 8) 135x10x3 incline bench 160x10x3 seated fly
had enough of that and moved on to interval training on the eliptical machine for the rest of my workout.
chest day is the only day where I work it with mutiple exercises as I think it's my weakness.

Ah, we don't have any dip belts at the gym. Might have to buy my own.
With that being said:
Bench: 215x5x5 Squats: 205x5, 220x5, 235x5, 250x5, 265x5 Bent over rows: 155x5x5 DB curls: 30x5x2, 35x5x2, 40x5 DB shrugs: 85x5x5 Machine tricep pulldowns: 40x5x2, 50x5x2, 60x5x2
Feeling good indeed. Lower back a little sore from deadlifts earlier in the week since I took a week off from them.

Makes me feel better, but I'd like to do it!
Just got back from the gym about a half hour or so ago:
Squats: 260x5x5 Bench: 185x5, 200x5, 215x5, 230x5, 245x5 Bent over rows: 135x5, 150x5, 160x5, 170x5, 180x5 Incline db curls: 25x8x3 21s: 20, 25, 30
Good day. Feeling good. Was still a little sore from the last couple days.

when did you do 275x3? You should be able to get 315 soon. You just got to get your muscles used to the heavy weight, but you should be strong enough now.
Got 290 at the end of my last bench work out, and I felt weak as shit while I was lifting. Took yesterday off, gonna hit the weights when I get off work. Shoulders today. hoping for a leg day early next week.

Just got back from the gym, today I did back/shoulders and a little tri.
I'm just now (this week) learning better form and routine from a friend of mine who used to lift competitively. I'm breaking up muscle groups into 2 days per week, rather than half-ass everything each time.
Hammer Strength high lat rows... 200x12, 220x8, 240x6, 260x4 Hammer Strength low lat rows... pretty much the same
(obviously split the total weight into "per side")
Shrugs using the Hammer Strength with the grip bars and you put plates on each side...
320x8, 410x6, then I just did 410x4 again
I need to start using free weights for shrugs again, I've been lazy
I did another machine (doesn't use plates, you place the pin in the stack) for shoulders/triceps, which is a seated push-down. I've never used it before. I think I did 180x10, 200x8, and 240x6 on that.
I did cable pull-downs for triceps, on the fly (not the Nautilus machine that has dips on the other side and a rower). This one is easier due to having two pulleys. I did the whole stack 25 times, then another dozen. I like doing that once in a while just for the high reps after doing other tricep exercises. I can't recall how much the stack is, 220, 240, something like that, but again it's easy due to twin pulleys.
That was kind of it for today, the most important part of my exercise was 20 minutes on the Precor elliptical machine at 130+ steps per minute, keeping my heart rate about 155.
I have been strong for a long time, but understand that I am addicted to food and a fatass. I'm getting tired of it, and the lifting is typical for me, but my diet has changed drastically. I'm eating for fuel, and trying to learn how much I need to stay satisfied and have energy, using protein powder (Lean Matrix Pro) daily, drinking water, eating small things every few hours. So far I'm losing a pound per day, which is more than I intended, but I really don't feel hungry or like this is something I can't keep up long-term. We'll see how it goes.

on bench yesterday: 185x5, 205x5, 225x10, 245x6, 275x3, then hit up the rest of chest and back. Got arms today, then gonna try to do legs and shoulders. The hips isn't 100%, but I'm hoping I can do light legs.
