A coworker has a 2002 X5 with the regular factory radio and wants an in-dash nav unit. Anybody here have experience doing this, or can recommend some good forums to research/ask about this?
A lot of people have used the Alpine VPA-B222 vehicle hub to get factory like navigation and music controls. If there is no screen in the car already he'd have to get a screen like the M740BT and some other stuff and have it all put together professionally with custom mounts and stuff. I've seen a lot of them in E46's and the like.
