You'd be amazed what gearing can do. I thought you guys were "all engineers"?? BMW 525's have a puny 2.5 liter engine, but they are geared well and scoot out impressively for such a heavy car / small engine. I'm sure you guys are all over BMW's balls, and already know that though.
You're right B25, it probably does handle like ass, it's on fucking AIR. I don't recall mentioning handling though....
My Q would take your FWD understeering pig any day though.
215hp +3500lbs does not equal fast.... Its like a heavier mustang V6

Oh. By "a lot more horsepower" do you mean TWO??
270-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard.
hahaha, what a bunch of tools you guys are, I keep saying it, but seriously guys, you're killing me here.
I take it you think just because a car has 270hp and a 6spd manual(btw ALL cars have an OD gear standard now adays), that its fast?
BTW you q45 isnt fast either. 266hp + 3900lbs is not fast. Thats like 2002 civic SI speed

I don't like VIP. But I bet half the people that talk shit in this thread like Street Fighter bikes, and SVT kits on mustangs, etc. You would just let VIPboi WRECK your colon wouldn't you?
I'd give it all up for heated seats and fwd though.

Jesus, is it me or do most of the cars falk is nut-swinging on this page have some serious rear camber issue? I'm sure the captains of industry enjoy being shuffled around in luxury cars saddled with camber issues and 30 series tires on a 20" rim. Must really make for a baby smooth ride, and piss the hell out of anyone trying to blaze up a Cohiba from their center armrest humidor (which is real VIP style).
EDIT: Also are you kidding me? Those cheesy stick-on window rain guards on that last Infiniti are considered EXE style??? Get the fuck out. Does that include bug deflectors too?

Ok so I've been waiting for some shit to compile (VS2005 can suck my dick sometimes) and figured, what the hell let's look up some specs (Edmunds):
98 Q45: 266 HP ~3900 lbs 0-60 7.1 seconds link
00 Civic Si: 160 HP 2600 lbs 0-60 7.2 seconds link
06 MS6: 274 hp ~3600 lbs 0-60 6.22 seconds link
03 Corvette Z06: 405 hp 3116 lbs 0-60 4.62 seconds link
Fucking a dude, even my sort of tarted up econobox should hang with your VIP pimp mobile.

I'm not saying the numbers I quoted are set in stone but since they all came from Edmunds I figured it's a good enough place to start a comparison from.

So here's this little gem I found:
If I go over it with glossy black, how do I avoid spraying the text on the buttons though? Thanks for the tips! (it's also much more obvious under the harsh flash as opposed to natural light) link
He wants to spray paint his stereo...

^seriously. Super harsh. That's why my 60+ year old parents always comment on how nice my car rides when they're in town (dad has Boxster, mom the mom-mobile Lexus RX).
I'm tired of arguing with morons, but about 90% of those cars posted have AIR SUSPENSION, meaning they can ADJUST THE RIDE HEIGHT. Pretty much none of them drive that low, that's why I made up the "true stance" thing in my sig, my Q drives the same height it parks, unlike most of those cars. And most of them come stock with air in Jpn, so you can just add a height controller to them. Extreme negative camber is part of VIP Style. Also, many, many people smoke in Japan, and it rains alot, hence, the rain gutters: they're FUNCTIONAL.
So here's this little gem I found: If I go over it with glossy black, how do I avoid spraying the text on the buttons though? Thanks for the tips! (it's also much more obvious under the harsh flash as opposed to natural light) link He wants to spray paint his stereo...
Reading > YOU. I don't want to spray paint my brand new Pioneer D3, someone suggested that it would look nice if I PAINT THE HVAC CONTROLS TO MATCH THE GLOSSY STEREO. Man, you really, really are a total moron.
Here are all the cars / bikes I've owned since my first car in 1987. Sorry, I have never been much of a pic person until the digi-cam revolution, and still I don't take enough pics.
1974 Karmann Ghia - Cal-look / style / sano / whatever. Showed at BugOut in Va in late 80's.
1984 Jetta coupe - total POS, last VW I had.
1984 RX7 fully built for IT, stolen from work, chased by Howard County PD and somehow, got away. Never recovered. Must have been a pretty decent car. Built by me and some dude I can't remember any more in Manassas VA who raced 1st gen RX7's. (this was in the early to mid 90's)
1990 Kawi EX500 for learner bike (back in 1991), only transportation for a full year in MD, winter riding is cold.
1995 Kawi ZX6r, model debut year, bought about 3 months after it came out, rode from DC to Montreal for 1995 Canadian GP. Awesome time, average speed about 110 for 700 miles each way.
1976 Ford F150 4x4, Dick Cepek super-poly kit, 4" lift, 33" Bridgestone AT's, Flowmaster. Taken to OffRoad Vehicle areas in So-Cal mountains regularly.
2000 EBP Civic Si. If BMW did an "M" Si, mine would have been it. Everything was done, and it all looked like it came that way. DC 4/1, AEM CAI, Magnaflow, H&R Sport, Tokico, King subframe plates circumference welded to prevent sub-frame tear, Skunk 21mm rear sway w/ Saner Perf Fab collars, Energy Sus bushings, Brembo slotted rotors, AEM pads, Motul RBF, Del Sol front seats matched rears almost exactly, CTR front and rear lips (OMG RICE!!! lol, not even close).
1998 Q45t
If I count my wifes rides since we've been married;
1991 Accord wagon, lowered, 17's, stolen, considered totalled 1998 Volvo V70 T5.

Wow did I call it or what? EBP Civic Si... DC 4/1, AEM CAI, Magnaflow
You must be PSYCHIC!! Wowz.
It was 2000 dude, those were the obligatory CSi mods for your new Si. I was more interested in handling and braking, both of which my Si excelled at.

Ok you admitted that you want to spray paint the interior of your car. I rest my case.

So you don't care what people think yet you love to argue with them? Shit man, at least get your shit together. I'm loving the rick king logic you've got going on though.
