I think you are going to have to push that turbo harder to reach your goals than you would with a 35R or equivalent. With the newer turbo's coming out these days, I don't understand why people still chose turbo's that are on the smaller side. I guess we'll see...
Are you basing these kit decisions on another setup?
Oh, and that manifold looks really nice. Coat it while it's out. Tubulars don't like being wrapped. He will likely have a great powerband, just without that "big turbo" top-end that makes it all worth it.
Mmkay.

You mean like your peaky supercharger has? Burn!
Don't get me wrong, I'm rooting for you to make your goal, I just think it would be easier to reach using a turbo like a twin-scroll 35r or an HTA 35r that would spool up ~500 rpm later but support an extra 150 whp. You do have a 8-9000 rev limit after all.
You're right though, it's going to be a blast either way.

Jebus, twice the power on stock internals? Are you nuts?
Even 400-450 is pushing it, despite being a great motor. Did I miss something or are you planning to reinforce?

after watching everyone else on the forums push the motors they really are strong motors. it's just a matter of not going cheap on the engine management, fuel, and tuning. reputable tuners with experience on these cars are making lots of safe power. the guy who hit 700whp a little while ago has had a couple different turbo setups and has been over 450whp for a while now, before the 700whp setup he was at 575whp, something like that.

Quoting future mods and power those future mods will make is just lame. FYI buddy

I believe the F20/f22 are the only Honda motors that come with forged pistons and rods. So yeah...they can take boost, regardless of the high compression.
