Nate047 Nate047 Post Master Supreme Registered: 03/03/03 Posts: 28558 Loc: La La Land, CA	Howdy to my neighbors in the great white north!! $\:D$ I come to you with a few questions, it looks like I may be coming to Winnipeg to shoot a car next month (middle of Sept) and I need some information about the city... Having never been there before, how is the weather generally that time of year? How is the police attitude when it comes to shooting flash photography with stands and grip equipment? How is the night life? $\:D$ I am planning on hitting up some touristy websites to try and find some ideas for shooting locations, altho if you guys hapen to know anything PLZ let me know. It's kinda nerve racking to think about flying to another country, on someone elses dollar, to shoot a Honda that I've never seen in person, owned by a guy I've never met, all in a city where I've never been and know nothing about. Anyway, I hope the Canadian regional forums have more traffic than the Pacific Northwest one cuz if not, I'm fucked lol. Also anyone who is in and around the area, hit me up for beers! $\:D$ $\:D$ It should be there for a Friday-Sunday deal, sometime betweem Sept 12th-26th... Lost^ Lost^ Unregistered	I've only been to Winnipeg once, seems like an alright spot, got a friend who lives there. All the people with nice cars/ricers will cruise down Portage Ave. Here's a local car forum to Winnipeg http://www.winnipegheights.com/forums/ bleh lives in Winnipeg might want to pm him for better info, there's also someone else on here from winnipeg, forget his name but he has badgers in his avatar

For good shooting locales and the street scene try joining winnipegheights.com a good crew of guys there and pretty much everyone with a modified vehicle visits at some point.

super_nguyen super_nguyen Post Master Registered: 10/02/05 Posts: 2443 Loc: winnipeg manitoba canada	im guessing you are shooting danville's midori ek hatch? there are some super nice rides in winnipeg, we are having a honda meet wednesday sept 3, but i guess you won't be there for it. for the weather in winnipeg its generally nice in summer, http://www.winnipegweather.com it gets really hot in summer, and it should still be nice by then, also our sunday cruise nights are super popular as long as you don't do something stupid to catch the attention of the police. honda's are super popular here, but then again we have tons of other imports and domestics. if you have any other questions i guess shoot me a pm /duc or pm bleh. _________________________
