What state do you live in, and what's the turbo setup? I live in Cali, and I know there are a few street legal turbo kits (Greddy makes one) that will pass smog, but generally if there's a BOV then you're screwed, as it vents exhaust gasses directly to the atmosphere. If there's no gasses being vented, then it's a matter of passing visual inspection, and unless there's a CARB sticker somewhere certifying the setup that probably won't happen. I don't know about other states, but in Cali unless the turbo is CARB exempt off the shelf then you'd better know someone who can hook up the smog check for you.
