sure they're a little beat up already, but i'm trying to not incur any more wrath or bullshit damage on them. last time i went to costco and they hooked me up for less than 10 bucks a rim, out the door, to put on my tires. My one concern now is that my bronze rims will end up looking like ass if i bring them there for the mounting and balancing.
I also NEED a shop that uses tape weights. the slight bit of inaccuracy is not a concern of mine.
anyone have a shop near the SGV that won't charge me some ridiculous 30 bucks a tire just to mount and balance?
tires to go on are VERY likely going to be toyo t1r's. t1s's are shit, but the r's have a much stiffer sidewall from waht i've seen.
san gabriel valley. costco has been by FAR the least expensive, and i've had good luck with them before, i just was wondering if anyone's had rims jacked up by them before? i know jimmy's had good luck with them.
uNF, tires should come today. if they arrive early enough i'll go hit costco and get them on today. if not, i'll just have to do a lot of driving over the weekend to overcompensate for the one lost day gotta get that breakaway shit scrubbed off
haha nice i definitely appreciate the effort. they look so damn good WITHOUT the stupid clamp weights now. the dude with the mohawk didn't want to get out of my seats i could hear that he had a little fun pulling it back out of the garage--shit i would too

lol every damn time I take my car to get it washed or have the tires mounted or whatever, I ALWAYS hear the dude reving the engine making noise with my rice cannon!
Only place that didnt do that (ironically) was at this shop I was telling you about... although it was the owner who pulled my car into the bay.
