man..the Carlsbad 5000 is an awesome race. Tons of people, lots of pros show up, awesome course. I did it about 4 years ago and loved it.
Hmm might have to show up then... See if I can beat this time from last week. http://results.active.com/pages/oneResult.jsp?pID=102438768
Doing a 5K race every weekend.. like a Boss.

So my excitement for the week.... marginally less slow. i seem to have gotten myself back to about where i was before I hurt myself in November... maybe sliightly quicker.
First time in months i've gotten 3 miles down in less than 30 minutes. 28:45.

4.4 miles yesterday in 36:20. I was pretty excited about that. 3 miles today in 24:26. Not excited about that. your 3mi pace is slightly faster. How much faster were you hoping for?

I usually run 3mi around 23:00, it was a slow day.

Just getting back into the swing of things lately. Finished up a 14 mile run in 1:51:xx. About a 7:55 pace. Felt great after wards, it was only 12 seconds off of my half marathon pace a little more than a month ago. I don't think during training for my half I was ever able to push my pace like I did today.
Next Saturday, I have 16 miles, so we will see how that goes.

High 6s... JFC. Nicely done. I'm still stuck in the low 9s.
