kluminaliti kluminaliti Poster Registered: 09/10/01 Posts: 312	Some guy is selling a B18C5 block, freshly honed and he used brand new CTR pistons in it. I was wondering what the compression would be if: A) A stock GSR Head is used with it (will there be tuning involved if used this head?) B) A CTR Head C) A B16A2 Head What compression is safe to run on 91 Pump gas? All in all what would be the best set up for this block Head wise? Thanks. _________________________ SI CAR FOR LIFE

Romeo a Go-Go Romeo a Go-Go Sr Member Registered: 05/24/06 Posts: 1195	I would use a B16A head. If the head is stock you might get away with using the stock injectors, but if you plan on running aftermarket cams as well, use 310's. _________________________

Jay-r Bone stock b16 head + ITR cams + stock injectors = 191 whp 136 wtq @ 98% duty cycle S2S1 + 310's = 207 whp 139 wtq ITR head + BC3 + 370's + other work = 234 whp (guy who i sold it to) Definitely get bigger injectors. I tuned it with a simple hondata s100 system, but i'd recommend using whatever your tuner is comfortable with. _________________________

B18C Block B18C5 crank and rods CTR Pistons ITR head S2S2 cams Plan on running the S2Pro plenum and my Edelbrock TB. I have 270cc but sounds like I will need bigger. I was hoping to get over 210whp and about 140wtq.
