How long should I wait before mowing the lawn? Did the seeding/topsoil on the 19th and that June grass shit is tall.
Also what about walking on the lawn if I had to mow?
raise your mower to the tallest level.

lol you can walk on it...i'd cut it by the end of the week.
I think they say 4 weeks, but we had decent rain last week, some today, so you should be good.
I waited 3 weeks, but i also didn't cut the new patches that I am trying to grow, just existing grass that was fertilized. I've been reading conflicting info about walking on it as it could crush/damage the new grass' root system or whatever.
Would this be a good "general" schedule to follow? March – April
Clean debris from lawn areas Apply lawn fertilizer with Crabgrass preventative (25-2-4) before first cutting. (If you want to re-seed grass areas within four weeks of this application, do not apply a fertilizer with Crabgrass preventative. Only apply a lawn fertilizer (12-12-20).) Maintain mowing at 3" height for lawn areas
May – June
Maintain mowing at 3" height on a regular basis Apply Weed & Feed (22-0-10) granular fertilizer when lawn has dew on grass leaves (A liquid application of Broad-leaf Weed Control can be applied, as a substitute, for a granular weed control treatment. However, the lawn will not receive a fertilizer feeding with this application.) Water lawn in summer if dry (at least 1" water per week)
July – August
Increase mowing height to 3 ½ " and keep mowing on a regular basis Apply a non-burning, slow release lawn fertilizer (22-0-11) Water lawn in summer (at least 1" water per week)
September – October
Clean leaf debris from lawn, as needed Maintain mowing at 3" height on a regular basis Apply Weed & Feed (22-0-10) fertilizer when lawn has dew on grass leaves - OR - only apply a Liquid Formulated fertilizer, if necessary.
November – December
Clean leaf debris from lawn, as needed Maintain mowing height at 3" ( DO NOT cut lawn short before winter) Apply Winterizer (12-12-20) fertilizer after final mowing

New grass is coming up quite nicely but I notice some bare spots. Should I wait till late summer early fall to add more seeds? When's a good time to spread the grubex?
NOW!!!!!
The cool weather is helping.
I already applied Grubex on monday.

Both?
Edit: forgot to mention that my backyard is all dirt since I dug it all up and plan to sod the whole thing. Would it be a good idea to throw some grubex down before topsoil and sod?
before I put topsoil down, I'd apply grubex. now would had been a good time to do it since it's gonna rain.. the water disolves the chemicals to kill those nasty grubs.
you can still do both. it wont hurt the grass lol

Got some petunias for the planter boxes on either side of my garage, a nice hanging basket I put in a wrought iron plant stand for the front porch.. Gonna look good in a few weeks.

Doing the planter boxes tonight, will look a little scraggly until they fill them out.
