I'm not CStyles, but I'm improving.
5-10, 154lbs (204 in Aug) and holding, but lifting numbers have increased as well as measurements. 14.5 arm, 32 waist, 43 chest. Damn I hate going bald.
Hate on about the gloves, nukkas.

Working out.. serious business.. definitely feel myself getting noticeably stronger. 2 months ago I'd struggle to do 6 or 7 good dips.. I can bust out 15 now without much struggling Endurance still sucks.. I can only maintain a 8:34 min/mile pace for 3 miles.. getting better though since I was up in the 9:30 range.
A little bit better?
Making progress slow, by I want more abage. We go to Vegas this summer, so I got two months to try and get more cut.
Any reccomendations on some good ap ripping workouts? I know diet is big when trying to get nice mirror muscle abs. I dont eat much fatty or super sugary stuff that much. Beer is probably my biggest vice.

Thanks man, pretty basic stuff. I didnt know where to start and just been doing the 4 day workout here for about 3.5 months.. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/matt89.htm .. I followed Drew's advice and went with heavier weights and a few less reps. Also try to do some kind of cardio about 5 days a week for 30 mins or so. Cut out most soda, fatty foods, junk snacks, etc. Still eat on average of 1800 calories a day though probably. My original goal was weight loss and muscle tone. Down to around 178lbs now.. actually been stuck at that weight for a few weeks it seems.

Thanks. What about ab and/or pecs workouts?
I'm at 150 now (I'm 5-10) and I used much of Drews advice as well. I'm slowly growing but I want to make sure I'm "defining" properly as I move forward.
I work out every other day, so 3-4 times a week and each one includes 800+ reps and combination of crunches and flutter kicks....nothing special beyond that for abs. Pecs are bench (incline and regular), butterfly, crossover cables.

My chest routine is just flat bench, incline dumbbells and cable flys. For abs all I do are 3 sets of 3 minute rotating planks (1 min on each side, 1 min rest between sets).

For abs, I really like cable crunches.. http://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/detail/view/name/cable-crunch .. I feel like Im getting a really good burn when doing those. Other than that, I just do excercises I remember from the military for abs (leg lifts, butterfly kicks, scissor kicks, air bike, and crunches)
For chest, I do the same as you. I try to mix it up with bench press every now and then, but I never feel like Im getting max reps in because Im working out by myself and scared of crushing myself and looking like an asshole.

Crazed, you make fast progress!
For abs -- there's a guy here who was doing 9 minute planks but his name escapes me. Between him and Drew I really started focusing on my planks (don't do enough sides but do plenty of normal) and worked my way up to 35lb weighted planks for 5 sets of 1 minute. I had done the P90x ab ripper before which worked ok but I have much bigger, thicker abs now after doing planks plus I just feel they are more beneficial than 'normal' ab stuff like crunches.
Unfortunately my abs are hiding beneath a layer of fat right now but that's a different topic ;-)

Nahh, I knew what you meant -- 3 sets with 1 minute hold each side for side planks which is a good routine for them side muskels ;-)
It was RedACR who was up to 9+ minute front plank holds which is just untouchable!

How tall are you? You really need to keep in mind that you're gonna weigh more because you're black (It could be other reasons too. I think my mom's side is what makes me heavier moreso than my dad; she's an islander and he's black).
For instance, on Monday and Wednesday and most Saturday mornings (replace identical evening workout with sat morning times) I lift heavy from 430-515, cycle for 20 miles from 530 to 630, then leave that class and play basketball from 7-830, either pick up games or league games. .. I've been doing that for the past 6 months (on Tuesday and Thursday I cycle 30 minutes for an av. of about 9 miles, and lift for 20 minutes, or replace the lifting with sprinting), and at one point did a fast (no solid foods no alcohol no pleasure items consumed) that lasted a month while I continued the same workout plan. I started the workout around 197, and after the fast was done I weighed 192-193 (I'm about 5 11). My wife was asking me to stop the fast, but I really didn't feel a change in my body, except on Monday nights when the basketball time came around I'd get the shakes sometimes during the game.
The moral of the story is that I just weigh more than the average guy. I don't look fat and I don't lift insane amounts (the most I lift is something like 210 x 10 1 set), I just cannot weigh 180.

No solid food for a MONTH? Ok... While it is safe to say that you are in better shape then the average person and anyone wouldn't mind to have your build. You do have a decent amt of BF in your midsection. Not saying you have 20+ lbs to lose. I'd bet you have approx 7-10 lbs to lose to look pretty damn cut up. Again, not knocking you in the slightest. Just saying for the sake that there is FAT to lose, not LBM.

Im about 5'9" .. I maintained about 175 throughout the military. Right now I think I could get down to 170-175 and hopefully maintain around there. I still have some good poundage in my thighs/butt (no homo) that and can be toned up.

Agreed, definitely fat there to lose but for some people it's just not worth it until you have a significant amount of muscle because not matter what anyone wants to claim you ARE going to lose muscle when you lose fat. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/woods4.htm
Even pro bodybuilders loaded to the hilt with drugs struggle to maintain their mass while losing fat -- granted they need to come in at %3-5 bodyfat but still since they are so roided up that's not much different for them to keep muscle down at those percentages than it is for us mortals to keep our meager muscle while getting to %10.
Personally, if I was Crazed or JustThetip I'd be looking to add 5 pounds of muscle as opposed to losing 5 pounds of fat which will still bring down the bodyfat without sacrificing muscle to do it. Then again, that's exactly what I'm doing so I'm admittedly biased :-)

Agreed. The rule of thumb I've read is that when you get sub 10% you end up losing 1 lb of muscle for every 3 lbs of fat. Take that for what you will. My lifts have def stalled this past month as I'm finishing up my cut. I'll tell you that much FOR SURE. Lol.
