That's pretty bad ass how did you build that core strength/learn how to do that?
My absolute favorite core exercise is Hanging Windshield Wipers. Here's a video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvN7uGX5QP4
I'd do different variations of it (fast or VERY slow), do leg raises in a circular motion, and slow hanging full leg raises (feet over your head rather than stopping at waist height).
Other than that, specifically for the flag pose, it was just practicing doing it over and over. It eventually becomes pretty easy and you could hold the pose for a long time

2nd to last one looks weird, but if you look at the top of the sign you see it's a U shaped sign post, he also has the girls looking at him and his clothes hanging appropriately for being 90* from vertical. Arms look weird, but that's just the backlighting and everyone else has it too.

I haven't taken any pics or progress shots, but in short in May I was 5'11 and 165lbs. That has been my weight for YEARS, i have a fairly fast metabolism so I've never had issues with gaining weight.
I've tried bulking up on multiple occassions, but it has been difficult. Now at 27 I suppose my metabolism has finally slowed down a bit and I did take my training seriously.

In that pic I was about 190lbs, currently I am sitting at 200. I don't plan on cutting anytime soon. The weight definitely helps me in hockey, but I feel it when I play soccer. Ideally I want to be 200-210 lean, so I am probably looking to reach 220ish and then cut. Not sure how realistic that is as I am fairly content with my size now, but wouldn't mind more "thickness"

Thanks - I went the opposite way than most. I was at 176-178 and stayed the same size so I upped my eating and weights and got much bigger. Problem was I put on some fat too so I cut that down and Im pretty happy (the pics were before I cut the fat - I went down 7lbs of mostly fat in 2 weeks with no real losses in strength.

I do pretty heavy weight. I bench and squat but i don't do deads.
I alternate weeks. One week I'll do really heavy weight where I can only do 6 to 8 reps. The next week I'll do lighter weight and go for 12-14 reps.
I never do a weight that will throw off my form. If I can't do the workout proper then I go lighter.

why doesn't anyone at regular gyms do deadlifts? last time i was a member at a globogym, i saw a HUGE guy doing 315 for 2 rep sets. i thought it was a lot. now i work out w/ that for 5 reps at half his size. it gets easy really fast
