So what happens when an unrecognized plate goes into this virtual gated community? Sentry towers with frickin' laser beams? No, they just store the data, for police to request through court orders, so we can spend months waiting to find out that the bad guys put a stolen license plate on a stolen car.
How about start with some decent consequence for criminal convictions so our justice system isn't some punch-line to a bad joke. Let's start fixing the YCJA so youth aren't leveraged for serious crime. If you're convicted of coaching a minor in an offense, you should do your time PLUS their time. We need to get serious with criminals because right now, they're are treating Canada like a free-for-all. Those crooked cops from TPS, they're finally on unpaid suspension. That's a small step in the right direction.
