BISH0P BISH0P Step Up Babysitter Post Master Supreme Registered: 02/10/02 Posts: 20549 Loc: Toronto	My house is a mid 1960s build and it doesn't retain heat that well. I've replaced the roof, windows, attic insulation and two doors (front is still original). Walls are plaster so probably nothing to very little between that and the exterior brick.

loudsubz loudsubz Post Master Supreme Registered: 08/16/01 Posts: 11345 Loc: Ontario, Canada	The best is to have someone come and install a blower on your front door and do a leak test to find where all the drafts are coming from. Theres only so much you can do with in wall insulation without going full blown reno and having the walls spray foamed or filled with loose foam, but thats a lot of work and $$. Stop the drafts first and do the least intrusive ones like attic insulation, windows etc

Inconsistent attic insulation (sometimes it looks good by the attic hatch but they failed to evenly distribute it 4. Drafty windows
