How does one find a room/place in one of these things, where to start, why is it so hard to find one?

Can the process be fast tracked? How long does it usually take?

Those are the two main ones I know.

There’s also Tendercare at Mcnicoll and Vic Park.

Apparently it’s hard to get in any of them.

One of the alternatives (though clearly not the same as a LTC) is that condo unit above T&T on Kennedy at 7, plus a caregiver.

(i.e. the condo unit has close/direct access to a grocery store, they can walk around the block, there's a pharmacy in that plaza, etc.)

Trying to sell a home with old Asian folk in it? ...

Another option (Captain Obvious here) ... is a white-ish LTC (govt or private) that's in an Asian-y neighbourhood.

Example: there's that one near you ... Swan Lake or some shit? I think it's on highway 7? Again, not ideal, most the the residents are white, but ... it's close-ish...

I hear there's one opening up in Stouffville but that waiting list is a mile long I heard.

even care givers (good ones anyways) are hard to come by these days. most people just end up importing them.
