Wheel alignment necessary??
|
|
Got some work done on the car (4 shocks/struts replaced, passenger upper control arm/ball joint and cv axel, and front sway bar bushings). Mechanic is advising me I should get an alignment done since the replacements could alter it.
I don't know too much about alignments other than the steering wheel should be straight 😁.
Is it really needed? Seems to handle fine.

Yes, it's needed.
You don't need to do it, but expect to wear our your tires faster.

Just to note, I have my winters on which are 16” but my stock size is 18”. Will that matter?

Called a few places (even Level) and was able to get an appointment at a place called KSL this afternoon.

Went to KSL once when I was in a pinch, haven't gone since. They are the cheapest though so they got that going for them.
