SuPeR-MaRiO SuPeR-MaRiO Post Master Sr Registered: 06/28/01 Posts: 6403 Loc: Toronto, Ontario	Has any one been? Care to share your experience? I have never been and would like to go. Any feedback/tips/advice when it comes to buying tickets, accommodations, transportation? Am I too late for this year? Whats the rough cost per person look like when its all said and done, $3k?

You'll see the cars for about 10s per lap at best. Prepare to walk, a lot. Stay wherever fits your budget. Be patient with public transport and lineups. It's a lot of people to move around, so it takes time. At Montreal we chilled in the casino after the race, and had a much shorter line to wait through to get on the Metro in the evening. Montreal is cool because BYOB is allowed.

Post Master Supreme Registered: 02/20/01 Posts: 48156 Loc: T.O. - Canaduh	similar to what eddie said...montreal is a shiiiiiiiiiiiiitshow, but fun lol. leave lots of time to get on/off the island when you have to walk over the couple bridges. now that they've bumped the date up to late may, it is not as hot either so saves you the stress of that. ironically lately races been semi rain/overcast shitty, but makes for a fun race. _________________________ "Ban low performance drivers, not high performance cars"
