This is my first non point and shoot camera. I just set it to intelligent auto setting and snapped off a few pics. For some of them, I was messing around with the built in effects functions. I definitely have A LOT to learn about anything and everything. Thinking about taking a class at my local community college. Anyhow, enjoy!

I love my 5n I just need to get better with the overall framing of a shot. I took a free class held by a local photography meetup and I'm thinking about taking one of the adult classes offered at the local schools. So far I've got the kit lens and I got a great deal on the 55-210 ($180) and also a good deal on the viewfinder ($230)

How's the 55-210? I have it...havent used it yet. And does the view finder help? I'm debating if its needed or not. I am probably going to get the better flash, as I heard great things about it.

The 55-210 is nice when I need the range and the viewfinder works really good

Some more pics I took today at Henry Ford Museum. Played around with the build in illustration effect on many of them.

When you use the built-in effects, does it also save a non-edited image as well?
No it doesn't, as far as I know. It would be sweet if it did.
