My friend came by my house last night for a little social gathering and had few too many. Well his wife called him around 3 am wondering where he was so I, being one of the only sober people in the house, decided to give him a ride home in his ~500 hp s4. Needless to say it was a fun ride home with him yelling at me and calling me a pussy for "not giving it all she's got." haha All i have to say is wow . Fun car and I'm not a huge Audi/VW fan at all. It was due to a faulty wastegate i believe so he had to rebuild quite a bit of stuff after that. I think the main thing is that majoirty of people who own them have the dealer do 99% of the work, so yea it is going to cost a fucking ton repair. The biggest deal is that you have to remove the bumper, grill, and core support to change the timing belt and turbos so the dealer rapes you on labor. The job is really not all that hard, and once you swap the turbos just change the belt around 80K and you are good. I am not saying they are the most reliable car in the world, but with the right maint they are pretty solid. _________________________
