While im on here....... Is it necesary to run the fuel damper, ive read conflicting arguments on honda-tech. Im running -6an to the rail and need to know what russell banjo to buy. one is for no fuel damper the other is for the fuel damper.....

Im running a golden eagle fr w/ b&m fpr. I wanted to run -6an to the rail from the filter. Russell makes a banjo to adapt the stock filter to -6an. jegs sells this banjo in two forms. one for use w/ fuel pressure damper and one for use w/o the fpd. I read on honda-tech and correct me if im wrong but the fpd equalizes the pressure in the fuel rail during high rpms when the injectors are pulsing more frequently.

The only bragging rights I have would be..... Ive done everything to this car except for building the bottom end. I did not feel comfortable investing this much money and time into this engine just for me, who mind you has never touched a piston before this project, to make a simple mistake. I think some things are better left to the pros w/ the lack of knowledge I have in engine building...

I thought I may have made a mistake ordering the 880's. Precision and slomotion both told me 880's would be fine for pump and race tune. So the 880s wont give me above 500whp cause I was hoping to max the turbo on race which should be around 525-550WHP w/ the 63A/R

i have the stock damper on my aem rail only because i didn't want to mess with the stock fuel line because it already has the fitting. gonna change it later though to just braided lines from the firewall because i don't like the way it's run.

Ok, I did somemore searching and I am going to do away w/ it. Im going to run 6an from the filter but I want to try to eliminate the banjo at the fuel filter. Thanks for the info

what droop is talking about is on the supply side, not the return side of the rail. supply line from fuel filter to the damper as part of the banjo to the rail.
