Week #12

Description Been doing a photo per week project since the start of the year. This is what I took on week 12.

I was trying to make a panoramic image in my Holga. Instead of blending the frames in photoshop I thought I'd try it by advancing the film just enough to overlap the exposures. Of course it was purely a guess, and not nearly scientific, but I did manage to get it close enough to make it interesting.

You can tell it's obviously not lined up correctly, but I don't really care. It was an experiment.

If you guys are interested I can post the other 11 photos in the series, or point you to the blog where I've been hosting them.

Forgot to mention:

taken with a Holga loaded with Ilford HP5+ 400 speed film. Exposed for 1/100th sec at f/11. Processed at home using stock dilution DD-X then scanned with an Epson v-500 via Photoshop and cropped/tweaked in Lightroom.

thanks Pat. I was thinking about doing a photo-per-day project but I knew I'd run out of things to shoot pretty quickly.

and I may end up running out of things to shoot around week 40, so I might start shooting my genitals by then.

seriously though, is there any chance we can change the structure of the photo forum to be the same as the OT one? This photo gallery thing makes conversations about photo theory / technique / gear rather difficult.

that would be, less work for Napalm, I'd think.

multiple exposure on film, I think I'll mess with that on the long weekend. Need to burn off some film anyhoo.

I haven't played with multiple exposures yet - frankly I can't think of two scenes I'd want to blend...
