The aggressiveness is a stem from lowered speed limits mixed with already idiot drivers.
With shit transit and shit traffic and infrastructure. It's getting to be a complete pain in the ass to go anywhere. I rarely go more than 5km from my house because of this besides going to work. I was off last week and didn't leave my house because I couldn't bother to drive in traffic and I also took the week off partly because I'm sick of driving in traffic.

Constant gridlock, exponentially increasing average travel times over the last 2 decades, etc there is direct correlation with increasing aggressiveness/impatience. It's fucking impossible to make it anywhere on time these days unless you give yourself 1.5-2 hours.

yup all downtown meetings after 10am and before 2pm or after 8pm and before 12am

I've noticed there are more aggressive drivers on the road lately, or is it because Im getting old? I usually cruise between 120 to 130 depending on the flow of the traffic on the highway. Im seeing drivers cutting off, driving on the shoulders, driving on the merging lane, illegal lane change into the HOV and back onto the main lane, tailgating, full speed to make a right turn at a redlight, don't stop at all at the stop signs (not even a rolling stop).
I don't seem to recall drivers are this bad? Im probably getting old? Toronto is becoming a cesspool of shitty people?
Honestly, i'm finding it the opposite. The general rule was if the speed limit was 50, you could safely do 60 and you're not hurting anyone or do you risk getting a ticket. That 10 over rule applied to most speed limits. I'm finding people are doing that posted speed, but not only that, now that the limits have dropped on a number of toronto streets it just feels like a crawl all the time. Bathurst is a 40 now....who the fuck decided that was a a good idea? so before I was cruising on bathurst at 60, i'm stuck doing 40 now. Keele is 50....etc. etc. Who is being protected here? I don't get it. Please tell me its not kids cuz they don't play outside anymore.
