tsx another option yeah but if i need auto...tsx is zzzz, would only get in stick. TL has decent power at least i can 'stand' an auto lol.
Just get the cleanest TL-S you can get and be done with it, best car for your price point and they are just as good as cars 10 years newer in terms of driving dynamics and shit, probably better, just lack useless tech.

Also, at what age is it appropriate to put kids in these park swings? THis is at 5.5 months, I sent her flying on one of these.

Haha she's cute. She does seem a little small for that swing but as long as she's enjoying it and not crying you're good.
As for the sleeping, hang in there. It'll come. She might be 2 years old by that time, but it will come. Its also your first

According to my kid's doctor, once a kid hits about 15 lbs, the kid has enough body weight to sustain sleeping through the night without feeding. Any need to feed is due to habit and not physiological need.
Both of our kids slept through the night at 8-9 months. We let both of them cry it out. Once they knew that we weren't coming back, they didn't bother to wake up anymore.
Vas, your kid might not be ready. I can't say the same for Denis though. LOL...

Flying this weekend, FYi certain aircraft have onboard bassinets and they are free if you upgrade to seats with more legroom.

Love South Bay, SF is not for families but the suburbs are awesome.
Assuming your flying into SFO, you can just Google what to do in SF... well documented but I'll guide you down from SFO.
(1) Make sure you take 280 South instead of 101, it is a MUCH better drive.
(2) Exit on Sand Hill Road and make your way towards Stanford, check out the University, Palo Alto Downtown, and Stanford Shopping Center. You probably don't enjoy shopping as much as me but it's nice to just stroll through. My son met a robot security guard at Stanford Mall and found it so fascinating.
Maybe grab a bite at Paris Baguette or Umami Burger.
(3) Get back on the 280 South and head to 85 South and go north on De Anza Blvd, make a quick stop at 85*C Bakery Cafe for some modern Chinese/French pastries (egg tart, milk tea, etc...).
(4) Head North on De Anza Blvd towards Stevens Creek and grab a coffee from Philz Coffee. I recommend hot: Tesora and cold: Mint Mojito. I ask for "Light/Light" or else they go heavy with the whipping cream and sugar.
(5) Head across Whole Foods for some supplies... fresh fruits, drinks, baby snacks that you don't find in Canada, etc...
(6) Head East on Stevens Creek and cruise for few minutes... it's like Highway 7. Cruise towards Westfield Valley Fair mall. The Mall is nothing special, your typical LV/Chanel California INDOOR mall but make your way towards the restaurant DIN TAI FUNG and grab a number, the line is typically 1 to 2 hours.
(7) Head across to Santana Row (another nice strip mall) and chill/stroll until your table is ready at Din Tai Fung. Alternatively, you can eat at Pizza Antica for delicious pasta and pizza. At DTF, its known for pork soup dumplings. They speak English fluently and it's good value. It's also 1 Michelin star rated for dumplings.
That should consume a day... I'd stay at an Aloft nearby as they are new/clean business hotels.
You mentioned your going to Monterey so there's still more to do as you head South.
- San Jose's city Happy Hollow Park/Zoo
- Gilroy Gardens
- Monterey Aquarium
Random Ideas:
- My old house (95120, it's near the highway, txt you the address if your curious)
- Taco truck at gas station at 280 and Saratoga Ave... some of the BEST tacos I've had
... - Santouka for ramen, it's inside the Japanese supermarket in this area
- Google Plex (FB and Apple have nothing to see if your a random stranger)
- Gochi for Japanese
- Do NOT go to Napa... nothing to do with a kid except eat $40 USD MUSHROOM (not truffle) pasta dish.
- Save your $ and SKIP Legoland, Disney (places I never been before). At this age, they are most fascinated with animals.
Please don't eat at a Chain if your in South Bay, just msg me for ideas.
My oldest is almost 2.5 and he's been to Bay area twice. I lived there for few months and visited the City (SF) every year since 2012.

Kid was amazing, barely made a peep compared to some other kids we saw on there...even without the crying though it was an absolute challenge travelling with a 6 month old - this is compared to when i fly solo for work with just a carry on + nexus + upgraded seats/etc.
The best thing from a traveling parent perspective is when the dude that sits right next to you doesn't even flinch when he approaches your row with a kid yapping and drooling. Got in his seat and just said "I got two at home, don't worry about what happens over the next 5 hours" and proceeded to pass the fuck out. Made it that much nicer of a trip when you have people who are understanding.
All in all, good times.
