I Had BMxx plates, and two months ago I went in and they gave me new ones. They told me that anything after BE is recalled. Though the warranty is technically 5 years, it seems to be that they are good willing the plates.
Zero cost beyond your time to line up. Wish I had gone in earlier to get the limited edition Nova Scotia font Ontario plates. Probably made better due to all the salt they use on the roads there. Was out there and didn't see one plate that looked like the completely delaminated plates you see here.

Peeling or not, I'm not driving around like an immigrant with brand new plates on an 8y/o car.
*hangs head in shame*
I have a "CAxx" plate on my 9 y.o. car

Peeling or not, I'm not driving around like an immigrant with brand new plates on an 8y/o car. FUCK that. No way in hell I'm driving around with a peeling plate due to no cause of my own. There's actually people that restore plates. I've kept most of mine over the years.

Peeling or not, I'm not driving around like an immigrant with brand new plates on an 8y/o car. This guy gets it! My matrix is peeling, no chance i am putting a fucking C plate on that.
Felt the same way till they more than doubled the price of plates to $50 recently. Now rocking the C plates on the wife's 11 year old Kia. Looks like we landed in Canada last week and had zero credit but it beats eventually having to pay the $50 to the gov't for something that they make poorly. A Couple of years will go by and we won't look like Fobs anymore.

Wife will not be seen inside a vehicle with that plate
I still have it, don't think i want the attention of that on a daily. If i get a weekend car (doubt it) i will use it.

What happened to your personal plate?
I am guessing his mission is over.
Who still has an A plate? Why does it seem like they produced the A plates for 10+ years but the B plates for only for for 3-4 years? I still have an A plate on my S.
I am guessing with more people leasing (and dumping their cars more often), and more people in Ontario in general is causing the plate #s to zip through.

I wish I had put my first hand me down car in my name before scrapping it to get the plates in my name, they were the painted metal ones. Once the owner of the plates die, you cant transfer them to a surviving family member. So I've got this mint set of vintage plates that I can only look at in the garage.
