Looks great! Garage was first on my list when I moved in.. I've since done wainscoting, floors, deck/pergola, patio, front doors... garage still hasn't been touched \:\(

Thanks guys, definitely some good learnings coming out of it. Overall I'm pretty happy. Maybe in the future some better floor colour or some flakes or something would be nice. And it's still missing a workbench.

The epoxy is PPG Pitt-Guard, it cost me about 120 bucks for two "sets" (one set = epoxy + hardener). That was enough to do two coats (approx 360 sq ft) and still have a bunch left over.

I waited 24 hrs between coats and kept anything off the floor for 7 days after to be safe.

Only recommendation I will make is that you will find as you build up your tool collection when you work with a smaller space like yours (or mine) there is no room to hang art and whatnot because every square inch will be filled. I will post up pics of my garage this summer when I finish it. Those cabinets you have on the side I would put them double stacked as close to the ceiling as possible against the back wall where the vac is so your side walls are clear to hang other things from and so you don't hit your head.

Just an idea, but you will figure out what works/doesn't work for you over time.

I freaked out a bit when I saw that but after showing it to an electrician friend of mine he said it wasn't burning or anything, just an asbestos fire-protection sleeve.

Looks a lot worse than it was.. but I still ripped all that shit out asap!

+1 on this... I've been playing around with the idea of mounting slatwalls in my garage to help with storage and organization. But first, I gotta get rid of Mickey and Minnie.
