Hagerty will not let you insured the car for $300 and daily drive it. I called and asked 2 years ago. It is for occasional driving only.

the bimmers are all < $1k each to insure (though I think i'm on $1M liability, there's some personal injury coverage but not the beefed up one; all listed as < 15k km / yr. )

the s2k is creeping up in premiums (it's the oldest amongst the group, not surprised) - on par w/ Screamin's R's premium (though it's off 3rd party / collision in winters anyways so it saves a few hundred bucks there).

Yeah, same here...hence why I was wondering if there was any other kind of insurance 'niche' where you could DD a 20+yr vehicle and not just stuck with occasional.

When I called them about 2 yrs ago all was good on the phone until i said DD and they old fart shut me down lol. Fuck. Ironically even with DD the R i still barely do 5k/year.

I'll do hagerty when i paint it as then it'll be true occasional
