Its a standard clause on a new car, if it gets written off within 2 years, you get the full amount, not the depreciated value.
We know honda civics don't depreciate, so maybe not needed.

Surprisingly Japanese cars (Honda/Toyota) depreciate on par with everything else in their early years. People forget how expensive they are to begin with and assume the higher residuals are a reflection of lower depreciation when it's because a fucking van costs 60k.

So what are the requirements to get this special insurance rates?

- Must be a member of BLM
- Must hate cops
- Must constantly bitch about the government and complain about shite.
- Must be a member of the "1%"

It would seem that I meet 1 of 4 requirements, so hook me up naow?

front is ugly though, i like it from the side profile and rear is ok. still a van though, prefer a Pilot.

The price of a car or minivan is pretty much same as 15 years ago.
In 2001, fully loaded Odyssey didn't even come with leather.
No nav, no back up camera, no heated seats, no power gate.

You pay more, you get more.

Why is my 911 $1000/yr

What's bs is house insurance. It keeps going up every year.

You are not making sense and I am not sure how what you are saying relates to depreciation, but to dumb it down.

A Japanese car is worth roughly 50% of MSRP after 3+ years, which is on par with other car makers (exclude exceptions like Wranglers/4runners/tacomas/pick ups).

Point being, it's a myth Japanese cars hold their value better than others (this applies to the early years of ownership). They do however hold their value in later years of ownership relative to other brands.

YOu are with TDMM? Call and negotiate, mine kept going up. Call them up and they dropped by 8 bucks a month.

wtf don't bitch, the R is still $1250/yr! WTF, RHill+old man me+clean record and TDMM honda "industry" discount.

i hope when it hits 20 yrs old in Feb. 2018 i can put some sort of classic car insurance on it but still be allowed to daily drive it. if not by then i'll prob have painted it and keep it strictly for summer weekend drivers.
