Forget those places. All $$$. We ended up ordering online from blinds.ca Service is great and no haste return incase you fucked up measuring lol
Wait are you getting shutters or blinds?
Wow, thanks for blinds.ca because I bought my Bali roller blackout blinds from blinds.com and loaded into my container when I moved from Cali back to Markham. I paid about 7K usd for 26 motorized blinds. In the previous house, I paid 20K cad for 4 motorized Hunter Douglas blinds. The HD are definitely nicer but they are so expensive and they still break down.
Not a fan of Cali shutters because they use thick frames and block a good chunk of natural lighting. Motorized blinds are so worth it... I actually have the blinds open during the day and closed during the night whereas most homes I visit, only some blinds are open because they are too lazy. Imagine opening and closing 20+ blinds a day... what a PITA. They are 4xAA battery operated and some last a year whereas some are still going strong (2 years). Programming the Somfy remotes and the limits of each blind is a bitch though...

Depends how you option out your cali shutters and HD I guess the version of HD we looked at was cheaper.
Cali shutters cost 35/Sq ft - 50 Sq ft depending on window

Vas is ballin! Good thing your house is not 3k sqft I am only doing the front of the house, there is no point going all around. In my case that's the only area i need privacy for, rest of the house is private. Your neighbour doing an entire house for 7k is a steal, i am paying half that for just the front
Mind you his cali shutters are not wood. Vinyl.... but still DAT BROWN connection lol. I used his guy to do sliding door, it was 650$. Cheapest I could find.

Mind you his cali shutters are not wood. Vinyl....
I am going to get accused of being a 'snob' again, but why do people keep doing white vinyl cali shutters. They will look awful after their first exposure to sun. Don't people do research or is everyone buying shit for like 1-2 year life span until they "upgrade" to their next house. This is the stuff that gives cali shutters bad name, welfare quality shit like this. It's like vinyl siding, the shit can't handle the sun and will yellow/bend asap. If you are doing cali shutters you only do wood, not vinyl. If you can't afford wood then don't do them, or only do them on parts of the house without sun exposure, but even that is meh.
I won't argue that metal is indeed a batter material overall, I have never heard of issues with vinyl siding. I've seen melted vinyl siding when a neighbiurs emergy efrecient window happens to reflect the sun right on an area, other than that if the vinyl is installed properly and has expansion gaps I don't see it being an issue vs metal.
