Without worrying about health risks because it's made in China?

Something so simple, looking for some flooring, vinyl plank. Found a style and wanted to buy it. Do some research and find out a bunch of types tested for Phthalates. Then do more research and find the whole formaldehyde fiasco with lumber liquidators on their laminate stuff.

Seriously ??

I don't care if it's made in China, I would just expect that at this stage in our evolution ee wouldn't be going backwards and using hazardous materials that have already been banned here.

I just bought some hardwood flooring from my guy and he told me about this, in particular anything by the Bruce brand at home depot has warning labels for this stuff. Ridiculous, why import/sell this garbage then?

Because they will lose sales unless there is a a nationwide ban.

When they banning VOC paint? In Cali, everywhere you go, you will see PROP65 warning
