We went up on the long weekend (day trip on Saturday) - i've never seen the roadways so clogged entering algonquin -- people parked on the side of the road (because the lots to the trails are all full).
Good thing the tourist mess is only 1/3 of the way in - as you go further in (about 1/2 way - where we were, renting bikes to do the trail) the crowd seems to thin out.
Will probably get worse before it gets better...
