WSIB requires you to prove and prove again, which makes the person relive the issue in a context that isn't helpful at all.
I was working downtown when the officer was being searched for. It sounded terrible on the air.
Every September we have a paramedic ride to Ottawa. It starts at Dundas Square and ends at parliament. It is mainly for raising funds for a paramedic line of duty death memorial in Ottawa... but is also for raising awareness of ptsd in first responders.
Hopefully legislation goes through where ptsd is classified as a workplace injury. I know I've dealt with my share of things that have bothered me long after the fact.
