Turned off the AC, covered it up, wrapped in clear plastic/moving wrap, and killed the breaker at the box. Turned on the heat over the weekend for the lady friend, and brought out the heavy artillery: winter duvet.

I figure I'll mow the grass one more time in the coming 2 weeks, then take the mower and water hoses in. Haven't decided if I'm gonna bring in the patio table, chairs, and BBQ \:\|

Also gotta fix up the garage door - fucking rat/etc ate thru the bottom liner. Also need to re-align the door in closed position.

My fall prep looks like a complete bathroom renovation thanks to a water leak.

I threw my wicker chairs in the basement. Patio table moved to the corner of the patio with a Dollarama tarp on it. BBQ is staying outdoors this winter with cover since the garage doesn't have room as I got a snow blower and the Lexus is much longer than the EP so no space. Haven't covered the AC yet.

Still need to mow and fertilize the lawn.

Never bothered with turning off the breaker. Aside from being accidently turned on with the cover on, is there another reason for it?

I'll be mowing the lawn nice and short this week, fertilizing this weekend... Move patio furniture into the basement and call it a day.

I dont think Ive ever covered up the AC.

Bought gas and tuneup/storage stuff for the mower and blower. Ill be cutting the grass and doing some fall prep this week.

Sold my winter wheels and tires form the old cars, so that cleared some space in the garage. But Ive got to buy 2 new sets.

I've had the AC cover for 3 years but never remember to put it on. Kinda figured they are built for the outdoors so didn't bother but I guess it doesn't hurt it so I will try to remember to throw it on this year.

At one point, I had 4 sets of tires in my garage. LOL

-1 set from the EP
-1 set for the GF's Fiat 500
-1 winter set for the Lexus
-1 set from used Lexus winters

I only have 2 sets now. I wanna put some hooks up to organize the garden tools better. Single garage FTL. \:\(

I haven't turned the heat on yet. But I've been using my fireplace - so that's good enough.

Still haven't figured out if I should install a legit fireplace turbine fan to distribute the heat in my fireplace ... I currently have 2x 92mm @ 5v PC fans 'trying' to circulate heat, but can't really decide if they're doing anything or not. \:\|

Boat has been winterized, (need to add damp rid and do final cleaning) One dock has been pulled, the ramp to the other disconnected and letting it float (tied off to tree with 25k lb tow strap). Pump used to water grass has been pulled. (need to add stabil to riding mower) Other than that, no winterization to be done at cottage. Gonna take kids skiing in winter, so it will get used.

Still need to cut and fertilize grass at home, put gas in snow blower and test it out. Run lawn mower dry and bring in the hoses. Also have to trim back shrubs and flowers.

I've never covered my AC. Exactly what is the point of covering it besides providing a nice enclosure for small animals to live in?

I don't bother covering the AC. Put a tarp on the patio lounge. BBQ is used year round and is always covered when not in use. Need to get the M ready for storage by month end \:\( only put on 2200kms since April \:\(

LOLOLOLOL i guess the m is a static display model. you can buy one from autoart for much less money XD XD XD

I gotta fix my eaves on the roof (one side is sagging). but other than that, the hedges were cut and 1 more lawn mow as many are doing.

I put winters on my car this weekend, re-bled the brakes and swapped back in my stock calipers. My winters do not clear my bbk \:\( ftl ftl ftl.
I forgot how much play there were in the stock calipers haha wow. floating calipers are junk for pedal feel and actuation.

well if the furnace goes, then might aswell change the AC too, ontop of that my hot water tank is old as balls so why not change that while i'm at it.

fuck home ownership

ontop of that, part of my interlock sunk against the porch that has the cold storage underneath it so two cousins and I pulled up the interlock, dug a 3ft x 7ft trench, put a pipe to flow the ease troff run off and then re-laid all the brick back so the water won't pool. i give props to anyone who does landscaping for everyday work.

So new AC and furnace for you, 6k, new hot water tank, 1.5k. Ain't home ownership great?

Cause I track a 4000lb pig, I bleed brakes like 5x in a summer. No big deal with a power bleeder. Crack open the valve, take a smoke or whatever XD then switch wheels. Nbd :D. As pain free as an oil change

I've put 12000 on mine in 18 months, and 28000 on my G37 in 11 months. I've considered selling too, but, like you said this car isn't just something you can go buy again and as they age it'll be harder to get a clean one. On topic, I'll be winter driving mine this year. Let's hope this average weather is what I can expect, what I don't know is how the PSS's will do, and I'll take the 328xi if I go out at night.

I'll be heading to Portland, OR on the weekend of Oct 16th till the 18th. Is it true that Portland is all about the three "B"s? "Beard, Beer and Bike?" if so I've got 2 weeks to grow a beard.

There are bikes, beards, and beers but certainly not overwhelming. You'll be just fine. What takes you to Portland?
