Lightroom is a pretty solid choice but it does cost a few bucks. You can get a $10/month subscription I think, but if you don't need to keep up with the latest version, just buying the license would work well. There are other options in the App Store but the Adobe stuff is just so standard, it's easy to find other people to help learn from. And for the ultra simple, Photos built into the OS is pretty decent. crops, basic color adjustments, a little cleanup, it's great for that

For $10 a month, there really isn't a better deal out there if you're going to be editing regularly.

And if you feel this is overkill you can still purchase standalone LR for $149 and avoid the monthly fee.

Snapseed is great for iphone pics.
My 6d connects to my cell phone and I can save pics from the camera to the phone photo gallery and snapseed from there, which is pretty cool also, except it is a downsized JPEG and doesnt print well at any larger size. So if I get a good edit, I have to try recreate it at home in PS from the full size image.

Did you move the library or just the photo files? I'm not Lightroom fluent, but the library holds the adjustments, I believe

You have to move the entire library then make sure the files retain the same folder structure or you'll have to "find" them again.
