Just watching this video...

https://youtu.be/lXj3qRzx7Hk

That video is a little long, he was ranting some about a thief who stole some of his work. But I think he has some good ideas.

I made a list of his ideas stated in the video.

1) watermark images.

2) upload sizes, only upload low resolution images, the 72 dpi especially prevents a thief from printing the images.
longest length of image: 1000 pixels
highest DPI/PPi 72 pixels

3) name and shame the- expose the fraud,

Take screenshots of everything of the offender website for proof

Report the fraud after everything above(especially the screen captures)
-Facebook, report it to Facebook
_report it to Youtube
_report it to their website host

4) http://www.digimarc.com/
Digitally imprints digital watermark on images, reports to you anytime images are used anywhere over the internet. Photoshop plug-in for 99 dollars a year.

Some of that I think is obvious. What do you do that is different?

Couple things:

1) DPI/PPI is irrelevant when it comes to resolution. It's just the resolution that counts.

2) I take shitty pics. I can't stress how effective this is.

The DPI thing is only done to make the photo look shitty if someone tries to print it out.

Shitty pictures, lol I'll definitely keep doing that!

Damn Scott, that picture is everywhere. That is a shame, if there is any picture you should get paid for, it is that one!
