I'm currently ranked 29,494th out of 178,889 men in the world with one workout left to go!


I got 135 reps on 15.1 (toes-to-bar, deadlifts and snatches), 257lbs on 15.1a (clean and jerk), 113 reps on 15.2 (chest-to-bar pullups and overhead squats), I scaled 15.3 and got 852 reps (wallballs and single-unders) and I just got 59 reps on the 15.5 (handstand pushups and 185lb power cleans).


Last year I finished about 48,000th, so if I can maintain or do a bit better than my current ranking of 29,494 I would be ECSTATIC!

How's your Open going so far?

My gym has a "Friday Nights Lights" thing every Friday for the Open. I show up and drink beer while everyone does the Open WODs, lol.
New members look at me weird. I'm like... Me? Nah I don't lift.

I'm tempted to do the 15.4 since I used to smoke everyone on HS push ups.

On the contrary, this year's CrossFit Open is the biggest ever in terms of registrants! There are over 12,000 CrossFit affiliates worldwide and the total number of people who practice CrossFit is estimated to be over 4 million!

15.1a: 185#

15.2 114 (ugh...fucking worst)

Ended up with a 10:57 on this...not my wheelhouse but I think I didnt push hard enough. Everyone said they were so sore after it...I wasn't sore at all. lol.

Ended up 75th percentile in the world and 78th in the region. Goal was 75th so I am happy...nice improvement over last year where i was about 68th.

Generally in xfit competition a handstand walk will be an event...some people are just amazing at it..
