Hey guys, my wife just got a job in Windsor and she'll be down there for a year, so she got an apartment for Monday-Thursday. We're trying to keep some of the costs down because obvious waste of money..
So, cable is obviously a huge waste of money, but since she's going to be by herself most of the time, she needs something to watch.
Insginia vs RCA: They're both $200 for a 32", one at best buy, and one at Walmart. I'm sure they both suck.. I also noticed BB has a Philips on for $50, maybe worth the money?
How do you get TV without paying for it now? We have a nice satellite package at home, I love basketball. I know that you can't just use an antenna anymore?! I think I'm going to take my x-box down there because I know it has Netflix which she uses, and crackle has free shows on it, too. I've seen these things on Kijiji, and they seem almost too good to be true:

Do we have any other options around the same price, or cheaper?
I also think I've understood that most big TV channels put out yesterdays shows today, like abc.com and the sort?! She likes greys anatomy, and other shows with people who have feelings.

Ah almost made it to black Friday.
Walmart tv prices are pretty aggressive. For the price the RCA should get the job done.
Also look into Netflix - good entertainment value for the $

get a second or third satellite receiver on your existing account and bring it to Windsor. Get and old dish off of kijiji

This. Never used, but it's the option.
I recall hearing about the oil monkeys in Alberta 'n shit... They'd buy stuff @ Costco (Walmart?) that have a 90-day return policy, and return it at 80 days... And repeat.
re: cable subs ... Try Popcorn Time for movies... (There's 1 version, WITHOUT the built-in 'free' VPN, that's much more stable than the 'latest and greatest'... The latest and greatest stutters every few seconds for me.)
You'll prob also need an unlimited data plan.
