Also FYI if you have the 6gig data plan they force you to get rid of it unless your bill is over 90 a month. I'll just buy it unlocked and sell it when I'm done with it as they hold value.

Now they are charging $65 more  and how many units will be sold in the US vs Canada?
No difference same production run. No upcharge justified with the exception of exchange rates / duty

Lol just looked at bell's no term pricing on the 6+ and it ranges from $859 for the 16gig to $1079 for the 128gig.
Was thinking og getting the wife a replacement for her 4s but looks like I will look at the 5s instead of the new hotness. We have a great phone and data plan that I don't want to give up.
That's the apple unlocked pricing - pretty crazy I agree

How is wind coverage though.
Garbage. Wind data is painfully slow. (source - my dad is with Wind). That's why its hard for me to give up my 6gb plan with bell. My data plan w LTE is much faster than my home internet.
To the OP - I dont know why they are charging more today. At first I thought it had to do with the exchange rate when you bought the phone in Dec 2013 but in Dec 2013, the dollar was ~.94 to .93 at the time.

There are a lot of those but I use my phone to do 99% of all my online stuff. A bigger screen and more speed and capacity would be great and I love the iPhones polished interface/ecosystem
I have a 5 right now though not a 5s

its not just apple, its the carriers asking for that price and jacking it up a bit, its easier to make less per unit when you have a market 11 times the size........... I never took economics, but I think its pretty straight forward.
