I'm short and have a thin frame. 5'8", weighed 140 a couple years ago. I'm a wirey, endurance kinda guy.


Anyways, yesterday I finally put up 205 on the bench. It's been my goal since January, when I could barely lift 150


Annnnd let the crushing of my self esteem begin.

Not bad, I can't do that much today. Moving from 150 to that in 6 months is pretty good, even with newb gains.

Good job. Now do it more.

Good goal, you putting on weight to get there? I'm assuming you're up from 140

I plateued at 205x8 last may. Lately the cycling and running is making me lazy at the gym.

Yeah, I'm at 165 now. 3000k/cal a day and 200g protein(on average). A little less on my rest days.

Good work dude. I put up 90lb db x4 on seated military presses the other day. Not sure if that's a PR but it was pretty strong lol.

good stuff moof, that's a real good improvement. Once you get two plates clanging you'll feel your balls drop, after three plates you grow a whole new testicle.

I'm starting a newer routine this week. More sets of less reps. Aiming for 5 sets of 5 with the last 2 being dropsets.
