ISO160 is actually ISO200 with the highlights clipped (or ISO200 +1/3). this gives the illusion of less noise as the highlights are clipped in processing.
ISO160 is the native ISO though for video on Canons, at least on the 7D and 5d2.

I've done a bunch of reading on this (most of it over my head) and always end up back at "fuck it ill just shoot at iso 100".
Apparently what you gain in noise reduction you lose in dynamic range. No free lunch type deal. Ill see if I have any of the sites I was reading saved.
